Who and why

I am a lady in the upper fifties. Me and my husband live in an appartment at Södermalm in Stockholm Sweden and have a cottage in Roslagen north of Stockholm. I have a dream that I in 2011, when I turn 60, will open my own exhibition in New York or in Paris. Crazy perhaps, but I think it is the dreams and the goals you imagine to reach that push life forward in a positiv way.
Mother (2 adult children), grandmother of four, big sister, stepmother, wife, mother in law, daughter, sister in law, aunt, former dog owner (Karl Lagerfeldt the sand brindle Cairn Terrier, d´Artagnan the price winning Tervuerens, Bandit the German Shepherd/Tervuerens/Hovawart and Ingrid Bergman the beautiful and lovely German Shepherd/Rottweiler).
My paintings have been bought by restaurants, other artists, tourists, friends, family, colleagues and friends of friends - just as for almost any painter.
To feel loved, to paint and to write is what really make me happy. I have written books for children (13) as well as for adults (6, plotting and planning no 7). When I paint the time stops to exist - there are me, the canvas, the brushes and colours and the great fullfilling flow that is so hard to explain.
I live after sayings as "Don´t fill your life with days - fill your days with life" and "Live while you can - there are no reruns".

News
I have now four grandchildren and this time it is a boy. I have become farmor for the first time. Farmor is the word for grandmother of your sons child. The word for grandmother of your daughters child is mormor.
I am a dog owner again. After almost 6 years without a dog I couldn´t stand it any more. He is a cairn terrier from the same kennel as our late Karl Lagerfeldt, his name is Nicke Lilltroll and he is of course adorable.

Due to illness my exhibition at Galleri Konsthallen in Old Town, Stockholm, is postponed. Unfortunately the reumatism some times really wants to tell me it exists and is feeling good.
